Mug of Garlic

Garlic is one of my favorite foods - it can lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels and also boost your immune system. Try my recipe for garlic broth. It may sound a bit strange, but give it a try. This tasty brew is great for sipping, and you can use it as a base for other soups.

Directions

To the vegetable stock, add the olive oil, bay leaf, garlic, thyme, and sage.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add salt to taste.

Strain and serve.
